Founder and Executive Director

The founder of Wheatfield Press has enjoyed over 20 years of global editorial work, managing portfolios ranging across the humanities and sciences alike. Her enduring passion for books ultimately inspired her to start Wheatfield Press in 2017, located in Brooklyn, NY. Since it's start, Wheatfield has taken off and now offers some of the best books across comedy, fiction, biography, and food & drink. Wheatfield also encompasses a children's book imprint, Pigman Books, offering children's books that embrace diversity and inclusion and inspire children to share their passions through a love of reading. The name Pigman is a nod to the founder’s family name on her maternal side. And the name Wheatfield is a nod to her upbringing in the plains of the Kansas heartland.
